due to the fact they thought 3,000 was too much, but I just had my friend paint mine, as he has a collision shop and there are a lot of factors. How much body work, new panels? All moldings, rear tail lights, etc pulled?, door jambs painted. How much blocksanding needed to be done? I asked him and he said that is fair price, another 500 if he had to do the jambs. Major body work would be more as well. He is an average shop, I'm sure you could get a better paint job but its gonna all be relative in price. Mine cost me300 for supplies, a few drinks and a weeks worth of labor. Hope this helps.
